Model Sarah Knappik had a child - apparently around eight weeks ago.
This was announced by the 34-year-old "Bild".
Knappik is known from various reality TV formats, especially through her participation in “Germany's Next Top Model” in 2008, as well as the jungle camp three years later.
Most recently she was seen on "Promi Big Brother" and "Like me - I'm Famous".
It was only in January that Knappik officially announced in an interview that she was pregnant.
At the time she was already in her seventh month.
A few weeks later their daughter was born.
According to Knappik, two weeks before the calculated appointment and by caesarean section.
57 centimeters, 4114 grams
"A normal birth would have been too dangerous for me because of its size," she said in an interview with the "Bild".
"Marly was 57 cm tall two weeks before the due date and weighed 4114 grams!"
She had a lot of respect for the procedure.
"Of course, I was afraid of the caesarean section beforehand," said Knappik.
"After all, it's an operation and I can still feel the effects." Nevertheless, it was a touching experience.
"Then she looked at me directly with big eyes - and that was wonderful."
Mother and daughter are doing very well now.
“Marly is such a lovely baby.
She hardly cries, laughs a lot, and doesn't complain much.
She only complains a little when she's bored, ”said the model.
Knappik recently announced on Instagram that she would take a break from work to spend time with her child.
The new mom told the »Bild« that she didn't want to miss the important moments in her daughter's life because she really appreciated the fact that she was allowed to become a mother.
“I was actually done with baby planning.
Marly is my main prize.
There are so many women who cannot have children and know how grateful I can be for that, ”said Knappik.
The model has so far kept a secret who Knappik's partner and father of her daughter is.
In interviews, she always said that her boyfriend does not want to go public.
So far, she has only shared one photo with her partner on Instagram - the couple can be seen as a shadow.
