Actor and artist Armin Mueller-Stahl, 90, is still receiving film offers from Hollywood.
But he rejects everything, he said in an interview with the "Lübecker Nachrichten".
"I don't want to see the old man on the screen anymore," said Mueller-Stahl.
The artist, who lives in Ostholstein, among others, said goodbye to acting a few years ago.
But he is still active as a painter, musician and writer.
"I was supposed to play someone with dementia in a film with Denzel Washington," said Mueller-Stahl.
A film with Michael Caine was about a British and a German soldier on D-Day.
"It's supposed to be a very strong story, but I haven't read it," said Mueller-Stahl.
The film chapter is closed for him.
