(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 15 - Following the signing of the agreement for the sale of the entire stake held in Autostrade per l'Italia, Atlantia has defined the strategic guidelines for the investment choices of the financial resources available and launched a series of to meet with the financial community to illustrate to the market the reinvestment policies of the new financial resources and the shareholder remuneration and capital structure objectives, following the strategic guidelines already communicated on 12 March 2021 on the occasion of the publication of the results of the 2020 financial year in a note.


    "Over the past few months we have worked to design the development guidelines for the new Atlantia which now proposes itself as a strategic investment holding, with a focus on transport infrastructures and global macro-trends, which are revolutionizing the world of mobility". The CEO affirms it. of Atlantia Carlo Bertazzo in which the company announces that it has defined its strategic lines.


    Furthermore, Atlantia, as a way of using the available liquidity according to the investment plans, considers submitting to the shareholders' meeting a buy-back program of treasury shares, for an amount ranging from 1 to 2 billion euros, from launch on the market after the completion of the sale of Autostrade per l'Italia.


   Finally, the company plans to return to distribute the dividend (suspended from 2018). Atlantia's development plan includes a dividend policy for the financial years 2021-2023, which will be submitted to shareholders next year, starting from the shareholders' meeting for the approval of the 2021 financial statements (therefore in April 2022), with the forecast to distribute approximately 600 million euros in the first year, with an annual growth of between 3% and 5% for the following years, thanks to the cash generation of Atlantia's business portfolio.
