(ANSA) - PARIS, JUN 15 - The French branch of Ikea and one of its former presidents were sentenced today to a one million euro fine and prison terms with parole for having spied several hundred employees between 2009 and 2012.
The Versailles court found them guilty of "fraudulently receiving personal data", but sentencing them to less severe penalties than those required by the prosecution, excluding in particular the most serious charge, "mass surveillance". (HANDLE).
