Covid-19 in France: 45 new deaths and 1,873 people in critical care

On the front of the fight against Covid-19, the day of good news continues with an improvement in the daily report of the health authorities published in the evening.

According to the latest data from Public Health France, 1,873 patients are currently treated in intensive care, such a low level has not arrived since last October.

More generally, the country still has 11,519 Covid-19 patients in hospital services, against 12,008 yesterday.

And only 198 people have been admitted there in the past 24 hours.

"Let us remain together responsible, united and mobilized", however recalled the head of government while the country still deplores 45 new deaths linked to the virus.

Worldwide, the pandemic has killed more than 3,824,885 people since the end of December 2019, according to a report established by AFP from official sources.

Regarding vaccination in France, 31,083,259 people received at least one injection (i.e. 46.4% of the total population and 59.2% of the adult population) and 15,108,806 people received two injections (i.e. 22 , 6% of the total population and 28.8% of the adult population). A total of 16,953,092 people have a complete vaccination schedule.
