Identify, also through the digital world, those innovative solutions for the diagnosis, assistance and treatment of people living with multiple sclerosis.

This will be discussed today during the event "Innovation in neurology: the evolution of the patient journey with digital transformation - The case of multiple sclerosis" which will be streamed, from 2.30 pm, on ANSA.it.

This will be the occasion for the presentation of the white paper "Multiple sclerosis and digital technologies: a proposal for a digitally enhanced patient journey", created by The European House-Ambrosetti for Sanofi. The document is the result of the reflections that emerged during an initiative that involved a multidisciplinary group. In fact, among others, representatives of Aism (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association), Fism (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Federation) and Sin (Italian Society of Neurology) contributed to its drafting, as well as Microsoft, which shared its experience in 'area of ​​digitalisation of healthcare also in other countries.

"The patient journey proposal for multiple sclerosis, enhanced by digital technologies, is the result of an integrated and flexible approach, which must take into account not only the new technologies available but also the specificities of individual patients and the reference centers that have I care for patients. The dynamism and adaptability of the paths are the answer to the very different contexts that exist today in the various Regions ", comments Daniela Bianco, partner and head of the Health Care Area of ​​The European House-Ambrosetti.

The meeting will be attended by Marcello Cattani, president and CEO of Sanofi Italia, followed by the interventions of the undersecretary of the Ministry for technological innovation and digital transition, Assuntela Messina and Maria Pia Amato, president of Ectrims, the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis.

Four moments of discussion will follow, including the panel "Multiple Sclerosis and Digital Technologies: a proposal for a patient journey digitally enhanced", with the interventions of Daniela Bianco, partner and head of the Healthcare Area The European House-Ambrosetti and Veronica Jagher-Director Industry Solutions Microsoft's Health Western Europe.
