The Prefecture of Finistère has validated the organization of the ten evenings of Vieilles Charrues concerts, between July 8 and 18, with a pub

Unexpected a few weeks ago, the news is now official: thanks to a configuration adapted to the health context, the Vieilles Charrues festival has obtained authorization to organize its ten evenings of concerts, between July 8 and 18, with a standing audience.

The prefecture of Finistère has validated the device of the festival, which will be held on its usual site but which has completely reinvented itself.

“It's a great relief! We are happy, we have not given up since the beginning, says Jérôme Tréhorel, the director of the festival. In mid-February, the sanitary framework was complicated but we made the choice not to relive a silent summer. So we imagined a new festival in a few weeks, it was a real tour de force. With the particularity of saying that if the situation improves, it will be necessary to improve the conditions of reception of the public. And this was not the case until the beginning of May, the stress was mounting within the teams. "

With the announcement of the phases of lightening of the sanitary measures, the organization of the Vieilles Charrues took shape at the beginning of May.

In particular on the flow of audiences between concerts and the catering-bar part.

It will thus be possible to eat between two concerts, in the garden which will be transformed for the occasion into a “huge open-air food court”.

The health pass simplifies the protocols

“The arrival of the health pass, even if it remains to be communicated and simplified to the public, makes it possible to avoid heavy protocols at the start.

For example, we have recalibrated the part from the arrival of festival-goers to the entrance, continues Jérôme Tréhorel.

There will also be pre-checks at the pedestrian entrance upstream.

"

The public will thus be able to attend, standing, concerts by Vianney, Miossec, Raphaël, Woodkid, Prudence, Philippe Katerine, L'Impératrice, Gaël Faye, Yseult, Benjamin Biolay, Feu!

Chatterton, Pomme, Ben Mazué, Catherine Ringer sings Rita Mitsouko, Bon Entendeur or Yelle.

In front of the stage, the “parterre” will offer a standing configuration and a tier is kept in free placement (depending on the places available).

To attend the evenings, you must present your ticket and a valid health pass (paper or digital QR code).

That is to say, fulfill one of these 3 criteria: be fully vaccinated, present a negative PCR or antigen test of less than 48 hours, or present a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 of more than 15 days or less than 6 months.

The numbering indicated on tickets already sold is therefore no longer valid. The purchase of seats is also simplified: no need to choose your location, since you will now be able to move around freely.

Ticket office still available at
