"Please speak up, come home. We're dying. Come back, we'll do as you tell us."
It would be the text of a 'trap' sms that Nazia Shaheen would have written to her daughter Saman Abbas when the latter was in a protected community to induce her to return home.
The Gazzetta di Reggio reports it today.
The message, according to the local newspaper, dates back to the period in which the girl was in the protected community after denouncing her parents who wanted to force her into an arranged marriage. The SMS allegedly misled the eighteen-year-old, who disappeared for over a month from Novellara (Reggio Emilia) and who is presumed to have been killed by her family, who returned home from the protected community on 22 April.
The girl's mother is being investigated together with her father Shabbar - both fugitives, they would find themselves in Pakistan - for premeditated murder in competition together with her uncle Danish Hasnain, believed to be the material perpetrator of the crime, and her cousins Nomanulhaq (fugitive, presumed in Europe, with his uncle) and Ikram Ijaz, now in prison in Reggio Emilia, the only one arrested after being arrested in France on 28 May last while trying to reach Spain.
