According to the police, a car driver slowed down the vehicle of an unconscious woman on Autobahn 4 in Thuringia, possibly preventing worse.
On Wednesday between the Gotha and Wandersleben interchanges, while overtaking another car, he noticed that the driver had passed out, the responsible motorway police inspector said.
The driver sat down with his car in front of the other cars and slowly braked, according to the announcement.
The car could be stopped due to the slight collision.
A seven-year-old child who was sitting in the car with the unconscious woman switched on the hazard warning lights "just as quickly" when he noticed that she was not feeling well.
This warned other drivers.
The woman received medical care.
There was slight damage to both vehicles.
