(ANSA) - VERONA, 17 JUN - Special preview in Verona of the exceptional archaeological finds dating back to the Imperial Roman era that allow a glimpse of a 'small' Pompeii in the subsoil of a former cinema, in the area near Porta Borsari. The Superintendence of Archaeological Heritage has opened the doors of the site to the media. Among the most valuable 'pieces', a Roman house with frescoed walls, found during excavations, with evident traces of a fire that occurred towards the end of the third century. The subsoil of Roman Verona from the imperial era gives us another exciting surprise. According to archaeologists, the fire seems to have put an end to the attendance of the complex. (HANDLE).
