Espelkamp: Securing evidence at the crime scene

After the fatal shots with two victims in Espelkamp in North Rhine-Westphalia, the alleged perpetrator was caught.
The arrest took place in Diepenau, Lower Saxony, as the police announced.
The victims are therefore a 48-year-old man and a woman, about whom no further details were given.
According to the investigators, the alleged perpetrator is 52 years old and comes from Diepenau, about ten kilometers away.
According to the "Neue Westfälische" newspaper, the police gathered numerous forces there.
As a dpa reporter reported on site, special forces are also on duty.
Witnesses reported four shots
Espelkamp is located on the northeastern edge of North Rhine-Westphalia.
About 25,000 people live in the city.
According to the report, the police had been informed of shots at 11:16 a.m.
Investigators found the man killed and the seriously injured woman who died despite resuscitation measures on site.
One location is in a house across from a bus stop, the other in a small side street not far from the first crime scene.
Witnesses reported four shots.
It is unclear whether and in what relationship the alleged perpetrator and the two victims were.
The background to the act was "part of the ongoing investigation," it said.
These were taken over by a homicide squad named "Bishop" at the Bielefeld police.
