Stop to hydrocarbon platforms in the Adriatic off the coast of Ravenna, replaced by wind and photovoltaic.
From next year, 70 million will be allocated (20 in 2022 and 25 in both 2023 and 2024) for the creation of a renewable energy hub to "reconvert" the Oil and Gas platforms and create an integrated marine district.
This is what the amendment to the Dl Fondone, approved by the Senate Budget Commission, provides.
Offshore wind and floating photovoltaics, it says, "will produce electricity in an integrated way and will simultaneously be able to generate green hydrogen through electrolysis".

The funding provided by the Fondone Decree to transform the extraction platforms that have finished their life cycle and are therefore unused into a marine wind farm "can make Ravenna a hub for the whole Mediterranean for offshore wind farms: currently there are very few and those who leave first will certainly have an advantage.
