The procedure is available on the INPS portal for family allowance applications for employees in the private sector, for the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022

The procedure was launched with a message from the Institute which includes the tables for calculating and annual revaluation of income for the family unit with respect to the different types of units and the surcharges for families with children.
With the recent decree law 8 June 2021, n.79, on the temporary allowance for minor children, it was in fact recognized to those entitled to the allowance for the family unit, starting from 1 July 2021 and until 31 December 2021, an increase of € 37.5 for each child in families with up to two children, and € 55 for each child in families of at least three children. After the submission of the application and the INPS checks, the Institute further explains, the checks and any surcharges will be calculated. The application procedure for the single transitional or 'bridge' allowance will then be opened in July.
