After a black year due to the pandemic, in 2021 the global advertising market should break all its records, with a growth rate of 13.5% over one year, thanks to the recovery in economic activity.
The previous record was set in 2000 with growth of 12.5%.

This year, the sector is expected to reach the historic level of 657 billion dollars, according to the latest separate forecasts from Magna Global, the research department of IPG Media brands, GroupM, a subsidiary of the world leader in advertising WPP, and from eMarketer.
Digital advertising, which benefits from the digital transformation of companies of all sizes and the explosion in volumes handled by e-commerce, will be on the rise with growth of 20% to reach 420 billion euros.
It should therefore represent nearly 64% of the total market, according to Magna.
