(ANSA) - BARCELONA, 18 JUN - Prime Minister Mario Draghi has arrived in Barcelona.
In a few minutes he will speak at the Economic Center where he will receive the prize for European construction, awarded in its first edition to the president of the Italian Council for his action as president of the ECB.
The award ceremony will take place as part of the XXXVI annual meeting of the Cercle d'Economia, an open forum for discussion on the major issues of the economy, society and culture.
At 12.50 a bilateral event is scheduled with the first minister of Spanish Pedro Sanchez, at Palacio Albéniz, which will not be followed by a press conference. In the afternoon Draghi will speak at the Italian-Spanish forum for dialogue, an annual event that brings together, alternatively in Spain and Italy, high-level representatives of the political, academic, entrepreneurial, economic and communication sectors.
