(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 18 - It might be appropriate for the Federal Reserve to start raising interest rates as early as the end of next year, in anticipation of inflation above the 2% target.
This was stated by the president of the Fed in St. Louis, James Bullard in an interview with CNBC, clarifying that on the timing of the rise in the cost of money "we have put on the table the hypothesis of starting from the end of 2022".
