A 17-year-old teenager who had been found
unconscious and bloody
in a temporary shelter in the Santiago town of Villa Atamisqui
died this Friday at the hospital
where she was admitted, and for the femicide they
arrested a suspect of the same age

The victim was identified as Luciana Sequeira and was found unconscious and bleeding in a hotel accommodation, where she would have been
attacked and abandoned
by another 17-year-old adolescent.
Sequeira was immediately transferred to the local hospital and then referred to the Ramón Carrillo Regional Hospital in the city of Santiago del Estero, where she was
admitted in serious condition and finally died
this morning.

Police sources reported that the accused,

, and the victim were in a room of an alleged temporary shelter, where after a few hours the teenager
left the place alone
, while the girl still remained in the room.
Faced with this situation, the owner of the place went to the room and knocked on the door, but since no one answered, he opened it and
found the minor bloodied and unbalanced
.
For this reason, the man alerted the police officers of the 20 Atamisqui police station and the prosecutor Vanina Aguilera intervened in the case, who later ordered the arrest of the suspect
for the crime of sexual abuse
and searches of his home.

As a result of Sequeira's death, the prosecutor ordered that the body be transferred to the morgue to carry out the autopsy operation, and the change in the legal classification of the case to "

This afternoon, relatives of the adolescent gathered to demand justice and her mother, Graciela Barraza, told the press that she knew "nothing" about an alleged courtship between her daughter and the accused, she "caught her by surprise", since "She was always with her studies, she

."
With tears in her eyes, the mother commented that her daughter "
had burns on her legs

and also to look for some books from the school for the virtual classes she had," Barraza recalled about the day on which she was later found in serious condition.

" he concluded.
For their part, feminist organizations in the province, such as Ni Una Menos, Mumala, among others, through a statement called for "justice for Luciana" and expressed: "Another violent death of a woman so far this year in Santiago del Estero, the majority in the interior of our province, "they said from the organization.
