The Argentine Yoga instructor Andrea Panini (43), who lived in Uruguay and had been missing
for eight days,
was found this Friday in the province of Córdoba,
in good health
.
The information was confirmed by sources in the case to the newspaper
El País
of Uruguay.
Panini resides in the Remanso area of Neptunia with her 11-year-old son, whom she left with a neighbor.
The last time they had seen her, she was going to a court in Atlántida for a cause of
gender violence
against her ex-partner.
As a result of that complaint, the woman was
wearing a tracking device
that allowed her to know
if her ex was nearby
.
But when the police went to her house, after a friend made the complaint about the disappearance, they
found the monitoring device
.
That is why at the time of the disappearance one of the hypotheses was that she could have had
a problem with her ex-husband
, the father of her son, whom she had met in Spain.
The Police analyzed the video surveillance cameras of the Ministry of the Interior and established that the last image of the woman was tying up her bicycle.
Then she took a bus to Parque del Plata, a spa that is 100 kilometers from Montevideo and
nothing was heard from her
.
According to sources from the investigation, the woman was finally found in Córdoba, where she stayed without giving any warning,
in good health
.
In the last time, as they related from their inner circle, Andrea "was going through a difficult time due to a long litigation with her ex-partner, the father of her son, who has an electronic anklet at the request of Justice which prohibited him from approaching her ".
The morning before her disappearance, Andrea greeted a friend on her birthday and communicated with her friends,
with whom she was in daily contact
, her family had explained.
"He left his son with a neighbor around noon to go to the court to leave some documentation and
warned that he would return at 3:00
pm
,
but from there we lost track of him," said his sister.
The harrowing search culminated this Friday, when Interpol agents managed to locate the woman in Argentina.
