What is burrata?
You might have come across the cheese specialty called Burrata while on holiday in Italy or at a good pizzeria. It looks like a ball of mozzarella, but it is a special form because it consists of cream and strands of mozzarella on the inside. This makes its
consistency particularly creamy
and reminiscent of cream cheese. With us you can get burrata in grocery stores that have a cheese department with an extensive range.
For a burrata platter, arrange different foods around the creamy cheese.
The great thing is that it

Cut the tomatoes and peach into slices.
(You only have to cut cocktail tomatoes in half - this trick makes it easy.)
Place the burrata in the center of a large plate or wooden board and arrange tomato, peach and ham slices around it.
Alternatively, you can of course also pluck the burrata into slices and arrange it in rows with the other ingredients.
Decorate the platter with a few leaves of basil or mint.
Drizzle the burrata with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with a few slices of toasted bread, for example ciabatta or baguette - preferably baked yourself, of course.
