The Victoria Secret angels are retiring, replaced by seven women famous for their achievements in various industries and not for their curves.
The American lingerie giant launches a breakthrough in an attempt to win back the female audience, which has been declining for years and in search of new alternatives, with the new motto of offering what "women want".
"We need to stop being what men want," says Victoria Secret CEO Martin Waters, hinting at a 'redefinition' of sexy '.
In place of the angel models comes Megan Rapinoe
, the 35-year-old soccer champion and activist of gender equality;
Eileen Gu
, the 17-year-old Chinese-American freestyle skier;
Paloma Elsesser
, the 29-year-old model who was one of the few sizes 50 on the cover of Vogue; and
Priyanka Chopra Jonas,
the 38-year-old Indian actress and tech investor.
