Cédric Jubillar was indicted on Friday for “aggravated murder”, six months after the disappearance of his wife Delphine Jubillar, 33, a nurse from Tarn and mother of two children, announced Dominique Alzéari, public prosecutor of Toulouse.

Placed in custody on Wednesday, Cédric Jubillar was brought in the morning of Friday before an investigating judge at the Toulouse courthouse.

"We are on a presumption of homicide, of crime," he declared.

“Cédric Jubillar had great difficulty accepting their separation.

He could be brutal, rude.

He had organized a real surveillance of his wife, even trying to geolocate her.

He had become very, very intrusive, ”added the prosecutor.

The latter further underlined that it was a "worrying disappearance, which could not be considered as voluntary".

"At this stage of the case, without a body, without knowing the origins of a death of which we do not even know the reality, to retain a homicidal intention is astounding", denounced Jean-Baptiste Alary, lawyer for Cédric Jubillar. Asked about possible confessions while in police custody, a source close to the investigation told AFP that the painter-plasterer had "maintained his statements despite long interrogations. And denies any involvement in the disappearance of his wife ”. “The hearings ended around 3 am (Friday),” his lawyer, Me Alary, told AFP. Wednesday, Cédric Jubillar, his mother and his stepfather had been taken into custody, inconsistencies having been noted between different testimonies. But the mother and stepfather were released, according to the prosecutor.Cédric Jubillar had reported to the gendarmes the disappearance of the mother of his two children, aged 2 and 6, on the night of December 15 to 16 in Cagnac-les-Mines, near Albi. The couple were going through a divorce.

According to the husband's version, Delphine Jubillar left the house on December 15 around 11 p.m. to walk their two dogs, in full curfew, wearing a white down jacket and with her cell phone. The dogs would have come home without her, according to the husband. Awakened around 4 a.m. by the tears of their daughter, Cédric Jubillar would then have realized the absence of his wife and would have telephoned friends of the latter, living in the village, thinking that she could be at one of the of them. He then called the police. In recent days, the media have revealed elements of telephony that would have advanced the investigation of the research section of the Toulouse gendarmerie: a photo of her in nightwear sent by Delphine Jubillar to her lover on December 15 in evening, and a screenshot of the lover found in Cédric Jubillar's phone.

Cédric Jubillar was heard at the end of April as a civil party (victim) by the magistrates in charge of the investigation opened for kidnapping and forcible confinement. Recently, the painter-plasterer was posted on his Facebook account with his new companion.
