Coluche died 35 years ago; her best stories of a guy remain irresistible

2021-06-23T07:09:46.613Z

On June 19, 1986 Michel Colucci disappeared in a motorcycle accident. Time has passed, but his sketches are still strikingly relevant today. Anthology of his politically incorrect earthiness.

"

Fucking truck, fucking fate ...

" Renaud sang to honor his memory.

On June 19, 1986 Coluche tragically disappeared in a motorcycle accident.

He was 41 years old.

For years, he made the whole of France laugh or scream.

His rudeness (which he opposed to the prevailing vulgarity of the time), his earthiness had taken him from the stage of the Café de la Gare to the César for best actor

(Tchao Pantin).

Time has passed but it is crying to note that the tone and even the subjects of the sketches of the comedian in overalls have not aged a bit. It must be said that he was to draw his inspiration from the facts of society which from 1968 were going to influence our lives and our behaviors until they upset them today. In a language that smelled good in the suburbs, he pinned without ever losing steam the technocrats, the rich, the poor, advertisers, the CGT, football, blacks, whites, racists, game shows ... Unrepentant slayer of human bullshit and all its

Schmilblicks

(invented by his spiritual father Pierre Dac), followed only one philosophy: "

In the worst, I remain the best.

Clown but not puppet

Michel Colucci as a worthy heir to the chansonniers of the Butte Montmartre was an ace of the definitive projection.

Even if his heart was beating more on the left than on the right, his humor was not, however, one-eyed.

The arrow that will target the professional strikers should not have made them die of laughter: "

Trade unionists and civil servants, they are so used to doing nothing, that when they go on strike, they call it a day of 'Action.

"

In short, Coluche was the story of a guy who didn't go with the back of the spoon.

His sharp line had to hit the mark.

Renaud's “buddy”, “clown but never puppet”, left us sketches to see and review.
