The red sails are back in defense of the environment of Venice.

Performance conceived by American artist Melissa McGill, the Red Regatta brings together over 50 traditional boats with trapezoidal-shaped sails in different shades of red.

The event aims to raise awareness of the delicate balance between the city and the sea.
