that retirees who have been retired for a long time will not have their turn until the end of 2022.

Eligible pensioners receive the basic pension retrospectively
There is as yet no further information on how many insured persons will receive the basic pension at the beginning. The reason for this is, among other things, the complicated procedure and the administrative effort involved in implementing the basic pension. According to earlier information, the pension insurance has to filter out those with a claim from the almost 26 million pensions with the help of data from the tax offices. The law has been in force since January.

who are entitled will receive the supplement retrospectively from January.
Around 1.3 million people with low old-age benefits are expected to benefit from the basic pension.

The pension policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group, Johannes Vogel, said on Friday that Social Affairs Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD) had mainly caused administrative chaos with his favorite project.
Not until 2023 would all people with entitlement be reached.
“This is simply not a good and reliable policy,” is Vogel's conclusion.
