Covid: new record of deaths in Moscow and St. Petersburg

(ANSA) - MOSCOW, JUN 28 - In Moscow and St. Petersburg they recorded a new daily record of coronavirus victims, a sign that the situation in the country is worsening due to the Delta variant. According to official data, there have been 124 deaths in Moscow and 110 deaths in St. Petersburg in the last 24 hours, surpassing the already record numbers of the weekend. In all of Russia, 21,650 cases of Covid were identified over the last day, of which 7,246 in Moscow, 2,722 in the Moscow region and 1,335 in St. Petersburg. In total, according to official data, 5,472,941 infections of Covid-19 have been found so far in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic.
