Erfurt: man injured passers-by - police are looking for perpetrators

In Erfurt, two people were attacked by a man - presumably with a knife. Among other things, the police are looking for the perpetrator with a helicopter.

A stranger attacked and injured two people in Erfurt that morning.

The attacker then fled, the police said.

The perpetrator allegedly attacked the two victims aged 45 and 68 with a knife.

The police did not provide any information about the severity of the injuries.

The background to the attack is also still unclear.

Both victims were taken to hospitals - according to the MDR with cuts.

According to the investigators, the act occurred around 6 a.m.

The police searched for the fugitive - among other things with the support of a police helicopter.

According to the description, the perpetrator is said to be between 20 and 30 years old, wearing a brown sweater and dark sweatpants and having blonde to reddish curly hair and a scarred face.
