TV star Günther Jauch is one of the faces of the federal government's corona vaccination campaign - a tweet from the Ministry of Health has now caused a brief stir on the Internet.

On Sunday, Minister Jens Spahn's department tweeted a photo of Jauch from the campaign and wrote that the moderator had been vaccinated.

But: Jauch fell ill with Covid-19 in the spring and could therefore not even be vaccinated.

He had made this public at the time, and the presenter had to cancel several of his TV shows.

Numerous users promptly criticized the statement - and the Federal Ministry of Health corrected itself.

"Unfortunately we made a mistake, Günther Jauch› wants ‹to be vaccinated," said one answer to the originally incorrect article.

Those who have recovered should wait six months before they can be vaccinated.

"I will only be vaccinated when it's my turn"

Jauch had already made it clear at the start of the campaign that he had not yet been vaccinated and had only posed with a plaster for the photos.

“I won't be vaccinated until it's my turn.

I don't know when it is yet, ”he said.

In April he was then infected with the corona virus.

Because of the infection, the 64-year-old missed three editions of the live show "Because they don't know what's happening," in which he usually appears with Barbara Schöneberger, 47, and Thomas Gottschalk, 70.

However, it was regularly activated live.

He did not experience the infection as "so dramatic," said Jauch in May.

"On the other hand, I underestimated the stubbornness of the virus," he admitted.

“Coronatest salespeople took great pleasure in me for many weeks.

You test and test and are always frustrated again after every positive result. "

However, there are harder fates than not having a lot to do at home for three weeks.

"I read a lot, cleaned up and actually watched a lot more television than usual," said Jauch.

"In addition, you listen more into your body in order not to be surprised by more serious corona side effects."
