Draghi-Blinken in meeting, on climate and crisis Libya table

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 28 - The Premier, Mario Draghi, met the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, at Palazzo Chigi.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations in the broader framework of transatlantic relations and the need to give concrete follow-up to the renewed climate of close harmony and collaboration between the EU and the US.

The main global and systemic challenges were examined, such as the fight against the pandemic, the economic and social revitalization and the fight against climate change, as well as the most important international crises, with specific attention to instability in the Mediterranean region and Libya.
