After the controversy over the face-to-face classes, the Board of Directors of the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires approved an optional face-to-face project, which will be complemented by the virtual modality that will continue during the second semester.
The resolution establishes
a weekly meeting lasting three hours
, with specific time bands for each floor and staggering income and expenses to avoid crowds.
In this sense, the schedule includes guidelines to follow to promote the care of the academic community and its environment, such as
social distancing
, security measures and a number of students allowed adjusted to the capacity recommended by the protocol that the Faculty prepared the year past.
According to the project approved on June 15, students will only be able to register for a face-to-face subject in the first enrollment, while in the second, if places are available, they will be able to enroll in more than one face-to-face subject.

Among the points covered by the Faculty's protocol, diagrammed circulations, exclusive entrances and exits, delimited stairs for ascending and descending, use of elevators enabled for the use of people with reduced capacities and the capacity for each classroom according to the number of square meters, while
monitoring and communication measures
are foreseen in the event
of possible infections
from students.
The Student Academic Directorate will be in charge of controlling each bubble and maintaining communication with the students in each case in the event of any symptoms or infections.
The resolution is based on both the Covid-19 Protocol of the faculty and the Health Emergency Safety and Hygiene Protocol for the return of practical academic activities at the University of Buenos Aires Pandemic and is the first step for the return of the activity face-to-face.
