We do not know what's up with you now, and how exactly you're crossing the summer temperature barrier that landed on us this week, but something tells us you're doing it with some bottle in hand.

I eat
because if you're at least a little like us, exhausted news headlines and mission procrastinators, victims of "things to do" and victims of climate change (proportionate, but still), then you have only one consolation up your sleeve - mixed, and with ice.
Or in other words - a cocktail.
And that is exactly why we asked Shlomi Bonfil, the owner of the vegan and excellent "Bana" restaurant in Tel Aviv, to bring us some alcohol to life.
The result is three quick mixes, simple but not * simple *, and really-really-delicious.
This is how it is when it is summer.

Detox resented

Ingredients:
half a cucumber
Smith apple cut into cubes
a quarter of hot pepper
50 ml gin
30 ml squeezed lemon
20 ml alderberry syrup
spoon arak
stalk mint
How to prepare:
Grind in a cucumber shaker, apple Smith and hot pepper. Add gin , Lemon juice, alderberry syrup and arak, pour over a low, wide, round glass with lots of ice and a mint stalk.
Strawberry and basil margarita

Ingredients: a
handful of basil leaves
50 ml white tequila
30 ml squeezed lime juice
10 ml orange liqueur
20 ml strawberry syrup (or jam) a
tablespoon of Atlantic salt a
tablespoon of ground black pepper
Preparation:
Put a handful of basil leaves in a shaker, White tequila, squeezed lime juice, orange liqueur, strawberry / jam syrup and mix.
Take a martini glass on a leg, lightly moisten the end of the glass and turn it over on a plate mixed with black pepper and Atlantic salt, and pour the cocktail in the shaker inside.
Pomegranate mojito

Ingredients:
3 slices of lemon
60 ml light rum
20 ml fresh lemon juice
15 ml sugar water
30 ml real pomegranate juice
half a cup of crushed ice
a quarter cup of soda water
Option for decoration: pomegranate seeds and mint inflorescence
How to prepare:
Fill In a tall, wide glass pour the rum, lemon juice, sugar water and pomegranate juice.
Add crushed ice to the end of the glass and a touch of soda water.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and mint inflorescence.
