Covid-19: restaurants, festivals, sport ... what changes this June 30

2021-06-30T16:00:16.335Z

The last stage of the deconfinement calendar begins this Wednesday. The lifting of the curfew, initially scheduled for that day, has already entered

Third and final level.

This Wednesday, June 30 marks the final stage of the reopening calendar, presented by Emmanuel Macron in an interview with the regional press (including Le Parisien / Today in France) on April 29.

It was this Wednesday that the curfew at 11 p.m. was initially to be completely lifted, but the government anticipated this change and the restrictions on evening outings were completely removed on Sunday, June 20.

For everything else, here's everything that changes this Wednesday (keeping in mind that it is always recommended to systematically respect barrier gestures).

Restaurants, theaters ... end of indoor gauges

Until now, restaurants, shops, theaters and cinemas could not accommodate more than 50% of their capacity indoors.

From now on, there is no longer any limit, even if each establishment remains free to reopen in full or not.

It is also this Wednesday that the summer sales begin.

The government had indicated that gauges could remain in force in the Landes, where the incidence rate is close to 50 and where the share of the Delta variant would be around 70%.

But nothing has been announced for the moment, undoubtedly in particular because the incidence remains more or less stable.

Last Thursday, traveling on site, Jean Castex had indicated that a point would be made a week later.

Resumption of standing concerts and festivals

Until then, you had to sit still to attend a cultural event.

Since this Wednesday, it is possible to participate in a festival or a concert while standing.

A 75% gauge is still required indoors, but there is no limitation outdoors.

Be careful, however: the health pass is required for more than 1,000 spectators, whether in a closed place or in the open air, even if the mask is no longer compulsory.

As a reminder, to have this sesame, you must either have been fully vaccinated, or have passed a negative test within 48 hours, or have been tested positive between 6 months and two weeks earlier (at least in theory, because positive people until the end of March cannot benefit from it as such).

Outdoor sport still (a little) limited

Contact sports competitions can be resumed indoors.

In public space, sports tournaments still cannot involve more than 2,500 people.

While it is now possible to accommodate 100% seated spectators in stadiums and sports arenas, it will be necessary to reserve 4m² per person if they are in a standing position.

The collective changing rooms remain closed for the general public (except in the swimming pools).

Only priority audiences can benefit from it.
