Festivaletteratura turns 25 and returns to the squares

The Mantua Literature Festival turns 25 and celebrates them, from 8 to 12 September, returning to the streets and squares with an edition, after the restrictions due to the pandemic, which sees more live appointments than in 2020. (ANSA)


(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 29 - The Mantua Literature Festival turns 25 and celebrates them, from 8 to 12 September, returning to the streets and squares with an edition, after the restrictions for the pandemic, which sees more live appointments than in 2020 .

An edition that tries to tell our time with over 250 authors and authors present including Colum McCann, Icelandic Jón Kalman Stefánsson, English Ruth Padel, Milo DeAngelis, Antonio Scurati up to Carlo Verdone writer.

There are also writers who have recently attracted the attention of readers all over the world such as Benjamin Labatut, Mariana Enriquez, SantiagoRoncagliolo, Fouad Laroui and Aleksej Ivanov and economists such as Gaël Giraud, Anne Case and Angus Deaton, Nobel Prize 2015.
