Homemade crackers made of linen and almonds in 10 minutes of preparation (Photo: Alon Mesika)
They are the ultimate snack, perfect for entertaining and even before you can put them in a jar or box they will already be gone.
Linen and almond crackers that are so easy to make that it's just a crime, and the biggest advantage - they do not contain gluten.
Their two main ingredients are flaxseed and almond flour (ground almonds), rich in nutritional values so if you are already snacking, you can be sure that you are putting only quality and healthy ingredients into your body.
Note
: Flax seeds should be ground, and it is generally recommended to eat them ground, as they are not digested in any other way.
You can grind them yourself or buy ground ones, but if you have already bought them ground, be sure to keep them until the refrigerator is used or use them immediately.

Preparation
How to make flaxseed and almond cracker?
1 In a bowl, lightly mix all the dry ingredients.
2 Add the oil and boiling water and mix well.
Set aside for 20 minutes.
3 Meanwhile, preheat oven to 170 degrees and line a large baking pan with baking paper.
4 Transfer the batter to a pan and with the help of a ladle or knife, spread the mixture along the entire width and length of the pan (it is recommended to dip the knife in water while flattening the batter so that the mass does not stick to the knife).
5 Bake 30-50 minutes until the mass becomes firm and crispy.
Times vary depending on the oven, it is recommended to check after 30 minutes that the cracker has not been burned and baked evenly.
If necessary, return to further baking until the desired crispy texture is obtained.
6 After baking, cool completely and then break into pieces.

Want square-shaped crackers?
10 minutes after putting the mold in the oven, take it out of the oven, cut into squares with a pizza roller or a sharp knife and return to the oven.
After baking, go through the grooves again with the roller.
