CRITICAL - This daring first film by Chloé Mazlo tells the shattered happiness of a Lebanese couple trapped in the 1975 conflict.


There were still two Swiss in the world in the 1950s.

The one, cold and mountainous, where Alice lives.

And the one, located at the other end of the Mediterranean, where this young governess dreams of going: Lebanon, then a land of recklessness.

The film begins with volume animations, plasticine characters who move in front of painted sets.

Once in the Middle East, Alice takes human form, that of Alba Rohrwacher, the muse of Italian auteur cinema seen in
