On June 16, 2018, this same court recognized the death of this driver as a work accident. Except that the employer, the company Nicol Environnement, represented by Me Thomas Humbert, declines all responsibility.
Justice must now render a last judgment, very symbolic at the heart of this health scandal which has ravaged the Breton coasts for decades.
“We have always had non-places, but rarely judgments handed down at the end of real hearings,” explains Yves-Marie Le Lay, president of the Safeguarding association of Trégor Goëlo Penthièvre.
"Our lawyer, Me François Lafforgue, delivered an implacable plea and brought in specialists such as Doctor Claude Lesné (CNRS) to take up the facts as scientific facts".
The deliberation is expected on October 14.
