Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform issued today the results of the agricultural and veterinary vocational high school certificate

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform released the results of the agricultural and veterinary vocational high school certificate and agricultural mechanisms for the first session for the year 2021, with an overall success rate of 47.48 percent.

The Director of Agricultural Education, Hazar Ismail, said in a statement to SANA that the success rate in agriculture is 47.19 percent, veterinary 48 percent, and agricultural machinery 50 percent, while the number of students nominated for exams in the three majors is 1451, and the number of applicants is 1369.

Ismail confirmed that students wishing to sit for the second session exams as an enhancer for the successful or as a complement for those who failed in three subjects at most, can register in their secondary schools, and students who wish to object to their results or the penalty of deprivation can duly submit their applications in their secondary schools, starting from Saturday 3-7-2021. Until Thursday 7-7-2021.

The student Shahad Abbas Sahi from the Agricultural Vocational Secondary School in Jableh ranked first at the country level with a total of 4390 degrees out of 4600 degrees, and the second place was the student Asmaa Hassan Barkawi from the Agricultural Vocational Secondary School in Latakia with a total of 4366 degrees, and the third place was the student Maya Yasser Ali from the Vocational Secondary School Agricultural in Sheikh Badr with a total of 4184 degrees.

In the veterinary specialty, the student Youssef Mahmoud Allawi from the vocational veterinary secondary school in Damascus achieved first place at the country level with a total of 4433 degrees out of 4800 degrees, and the second place for the student Ahmed Abdel Latif Al-Malash from the veterinary and agricultural secondary in Hama with a total of 4418 degrees and the third place for the student Bilal Muhammad Hisham Taloub from Vocational Veterinary and Agricultural Secondary School in Hama, with a total score of 4405.

Ismail indicated that 3 percent of the first successful students in each governorate are accepted directly to study agricultural engineering or veterinary medicine, according to the specialization, and the next 3 percent to study agricultural or veterinary technical institutes according to the specialization, in addition to accepting students to study at the Arab Technical Institute for Agriculture and Fisheries in Lattakia. According to the needs of the Directorate of Forestry and among the first males at the governorate level, all of them are counted among the successful in the first cycle exclusively
