And, like a party dedicated to post-confinement, this same honorary award will be awarded during the 78th edition of the Venetian fortnight to the great Italian actor Roberto Benigni, the director of the masterpiece
La Vie est belle
, which won three times Oscar in 1999.

The organizing committee of the Mostra has indicated that the third installment of
David Gordon Green's
Halloween Kills
film series
, in which Jamie Lee Curtis plays the lead role, will be screened out of competition.
This projection has symbolic value since the American actress took her first steps in the cinema in the film "
Halloween: The Night of the Masks
" by John Carpenter in 1978. Perfect in the role of the babysitter Laurie Strode, victim of a horrific storyline, she fell prey to a serial killer named Michael Myers.
