For spring-summer 2022 the world of sports and casual clothing evolves with a research process that inspires multifunctional garments with futuristic materials: balanced volumes, innovative fabrics and light weights give life to totally waterproof, windproof, anti-bacterial garments, highly breathable and able to maintain thermal insulation, designed specifically for the outdoors and long journeys.

At Pitti Uomo the taste of a 'lived-in' garment is always strong: banning what appears to be brand new, welcome garments refined by use, made unique by the character of those who have chosen them. They are the personal classics we will always want.

The iconic garment of this new research is the outerwear, interpreted with innovative fabrics, multi-function pockets and ad hoc zip. It is combined with Bermuda shorts and joggers to be worn over thin and refined knitwear, together with featherweight sweatshirts. For leisure moments there are also transformable pieces, to be worn indoors and outdoors in the open air. Some examples? From Momodesign, which thinks of dressing those who live the city in a dynamic way with motorcycles, bicycles and scooters, comes Graphene, a fabric that guarantees thermal insulation while maintaining the right body temperature in any climate (a line developed in collaboration with the Italian company Golf @ 360). Instead AlphaTauri, Red Bull's premium fashion brand, launches new fabrics such as Taurobran, the patented 3-layer membrane updated with a lightweight cotton fabric, used in the iconic Koov and Kaav parkas. At Barbed, the iconic garment is the parka, which is lined with vintage navy sweaters and marine patches in bright colors, for a vintage look. At Harris Wharf London instead, workwear triumphs, with a new range of work jackets and shirts in twill, linen and water-repellent technical jersey fabrics. It goes beyond the Arys brand, founded by Fritz Sturm in Berlin, which continues its path of reflection and creation of new solutions suitable for an increasingly complex global world. The collection offers hi-tech features on thermo-regulating parkas and antibacterial vests, with the addition of integrated laptop sleeves.which is lined with vintage navy jerseys and brightly colored seafaring patches for a vintage look.     2021, on the other hand, is the year of celebrations for CPCompany. After the capsule dedicated to Lucio Dalla and the statue of the British Sailor, the third chapter is dedicated to one of the most successful moments in the contemporary history of the brand: the collaboration with the Dutch brand Patta. Today the iconic Patta suit is combined with the features that have made CP

Company a staple of sportswear. There are also those who bet everything on sustainability, the great theme of the show. Today it is possible to have a complete wardrobe of green garments with an eco-friendly soul: even the new sports fabrics are made with pre and post-production waste, biodegradable, organic or recycled.
