(ANSA) - TOKYO, June 30 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the session higher, in the wake of the positive closing of the US stock indices and the encouraging data on US consumer confidence in June, at the highest since the beginning of the Covid pandemic.
At the opening, the Nikkei index advanced by 0.30% to 28,899.20, with an increase of 205 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the yen has changed little on the dollar at 110.50 and on the euro at 131.50.
