The supplier MBG Foodservice GmbH informed about the cause of the recall in a press release. The Dip was recalled "for reasons of preventive consumer protection". Affected is the product "Henderson and Sons Dip Cheese 12 x 300g" with the best before date 11/30/2022 and the time 23:30 - 23:42. The Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety also informed about the recall.
There is a suspicion "that glass foreign bodies could be contained in individual glasses," wrote the supplier in his message.
A possible health hazard cannot therefore be ruled out.
Foreign objects, such as broken glass or broken glass, can injure the mouth and throat, and cause internal injuries or bleeding.
