The police arrested another suspect in the abuse complex in Münster.
The 33-year-old was caught on Wednesday in Regensburg in Bavaria, as announced by the public prosecutor and the police.
The officers searched his home and workplace and identified a scene of serious sexual abuse.
They also secured other data carriers, as the police in Münster announced.
The starting point was the evaluation of seized evidence by the investigative commission "Rose" in Münster.
The investigation into the abused child leads, according to the announcement, to other European countries.
The procedure will be continued by the authorities in Regensburg.
Alongside Lügde and Bergisch Gladbach, Münster is one of three large complexes of sexual violence against children in North Rhine-Westphalia that have been uncovered since 2019.
Based on investigations in a gazebo that was demolished today against a 28-year-old main defendant, large networks with numerous participants and a large number of victims had come to light.
Around 30 children are said to have become victims in the entire complex.
There are currently proceedings against around 50 suspects, around 30 of whom are in custody.
On Tuesday, the Münster district court wants to announce the verdicts in the main trial.
