The Buenos Aires Minister of Health, Fernán Quirós, announced this Friday the call of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires to people over 21 years of age who live in the district to
test a combination of vaccines
against the coronavirus.
"We have decided to start a vaccine combination study in the City," Quirós said this Friday morning.
The call is open to any resident of the City who has received the first component of Sputnik V, has been vaccinated more than 30 days ago, who is over 21 years old and who wants to voluntarily enroll in a registry.
"By a
random method we will be inviting some people
to be included in the study," said Quirós.
During a press conference, the Buenos Aires official pointed out that those selected will receive as a second dose one of three vaccines: Sputnik V component 2, Sinopharm or AstraZeneca, and they will have
a blood test before and another after being vaccinated
.
Porteños who want to be part of the study that the City Government will carry out can register through the official website: buenosaires.gob.ar/CombinaciónVacunas.
"After participating in the study,
they will be followed for 4 weeks to observe adverse effects and immune effects
," said the Buenos Aires minister.
In this context, Quirós announced the opening of the online registration (buenosaires.gob.ar/vacunacovid) for vaccination against Covid-19 for adults whose age is between 35 and 39 years, without risk conditions and who reside in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
