After the inaugural stage of Venice and the Rimini and La Spezia appointments, the Giro d'Italia solidarity, in its fifth edition, of the barrier-free catamaran, embarks in fact the representatives of the Renzo Piano Foundation and the winning architects of the Renzo Piano World Tour 2020 : on board Manuel Bouzas (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid), Alberta Benedetti (IUAV University of Venice), Joseph de Metz (École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris-Malaquais) and Nicholas Ryan Coates (AHO, Oslo School of Architecture and Design).

The appointment is in the waters overlooking the Ligurian capital in the sign of the dialogue between the sea and conscious and supportive architecture.

With the sails open, 'it will be a journey in search of discovery', in the words of Renzo Piano.

Eight ports have already been touched or will be visited for 34 days of outings reserved for associations and families.

After Genoa the catamaran will head towards Cagliari, Gaeta, Palermo until the final appointment in Brindisi from 15 to 17 October.
