New Tik Tuk Fitness Challenge
The tic tac network has brought into our lives all sorts of shortcuts, because how much longer can you push in a short video?
One of the shortcuts that has been gaining momentum in recent months, and chances are you have encountered it, is a kind of fitness challenge that comes from a Korean trainer, who promises to lower your belly through a simple dance.
This dance training, created by a user with the name Janny14906 which has been followed by close to 5 million participants, has become very very popular lately, perhaps in all its simplicity.
The dances include pelvic movements back and forth, and to the sides, for about 5 minutes.

The pillar operator ensures that the dance helps to eliminate the belly fat, and in addition improves metrics such as cholesterol, without dieting or adherence to nutrition.
But as expected, experts argue otherwise.
"Today it is known that no matter how many exercises are done to a problem area, we will not be able to burn the fat on a spot," explains Gil Granot, fitness trainer, sports nutrition lecturer and owner of IsraelBody.
"So with regard to the abdomen, or what is called the 'sides', the lower abdomen, or any other area, no matter how much practice is done the fat is not actually dropped from these areas."
According to Granot, muscle and fat tissue are different tissues.
Exercise may strengthen the muscles, but will not in any way affect the other tissue - the fat.
"In order to sculpt and burn fat, we must ensure a caloric deficit that comes thanks to a smart calorie reduction and a combination of adapted exercise," he explains.

So even though we all would very much like a shortcut to getting a flat stomach, it probably doesn’t really exist.
"In order to get a flat and beautiful abdomen, you need to lower the percentage of fat and at the same time strengthen the abdominal muscles," Granot explains. " And of course it is possible to make an adjustment for each and every one according to his abilities. "
According to him, the most important message is that there is not really one exercise that is much better than another exercise.
"The importance is to choose an exercise that does not cause damage to the back but that you feel the abdominal muscle working. It is also important to say that it is recommended to work on the abdominal muscles two to three times a week. Choose two exercises at a time. Opposition to increasing the difficulty. "
