A sorrow shared is a sorrow halved: The royal couple was received by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace.

His wife Elke Büdenbender is also there, she is currently on crutches because of a metatarsal fracture.

The injury is obviously painful, Maxima seems to be able to empathize with it.
