Love your coffee with frothed milk?
If so, you must have once wondered if it is possible to put milk instead of water in the coffee machine and shorten processes.
The answer is that it is possible, absolutely.
desirable?
Definately not.
It all started when a Tiktok user shared the way he drinks his morning coffee - when instead of water he fills his coffee machine with milk.
Tiktok user good.food.gang - who regularly shares videos about foods and drinks - decided to give it a try and filled the dedicated container with milk.
She tasted the product and declared: "The drink is much bitterer than usual."
In response, she said she ran out of milk in the middle of the experiment so she had to refill the machine and wrote: "Not sure if it ruined the experiment."
Before you rush to try it at home, other ticktock users have warned not to try it.
One wrote: "You are not supposed to do that. The milk may create mold in the machine and destroy it."
Another agreed and wrote: "In memory of your coffee machine. Tomorrow there will be mold."
One man recounted his own unfortunate experience and wrote: "Yes, I did too and my coffee machine was destroyed."

"Just because you can - does not mean you have to"
The site portafilter.net provided a number of reasons why milk should not be added to the coffee machine.
"Adding milk directly to the coffee machine is definitely an easier way than heating milk separately. It will also save you more dishwashing," the website said. "Technically, you can put milk in the coffee machine, but just because you can - it does not mean you have to. "The reason most coffee machines come with explicit instructions is that milk should not be put in the water tank. Other than that, the taste will be harmed due to excessive heating of the milk and taking over the coffee flavor, so the result will be mostly milk and a little coffee."

The website also states: "In addition to all this, bacteria may develop in the coffee machine, mold may grow wherever the milk touched during the coffee making process and it may damage the coffee taste in the future. "You can remove any remaining milk in it, unless you disassemble the machine completely. Also, the milk may clot and clog the machine."
After good.food.gang was exposed to the surprising reactions, she said she hurriedly washed her coffee machine and passed a diluted vinegar solution in it several times to ensure that the machine would continue to function.
