The Ministry of Education issued instructions for registration for secondary exams in all its branches for the second session of 2021, where registration begins from the morning of Sunday, July 11, and continues until Thursday, the 22nd of it, including official holidays.
The ministry stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of today, that the second exam session is being submitted for regular students in their schools, while the free students are registered in the examination departments in the directorates of education.
According to the statement, students who fail in three subjects at most are entitled to apply to the second cycle, while students who succeed in the first cycle and wish to improve with three subjects at most.
The Ministry explained that the examination departments are responsible for implementing the executive instructions of Decree No. 153 related to the registration of students for the second session and adherence to the fact that the successful student in the 2020 session and submitting to the 2021 session, the first session, is not entitled to apply for the exams of the second session, regardless of its result. The successful student in the second session is not entitled to Previous years applying for exams for the second session, regardless of the result.
The successful student is also not entitled to apply only once after his first success, and he is not entitled to apply as an improved in the second session or in the following years, while the successful student, before applying the provisions of Decree 153 and did not benefit from the successful opportunity, re-apply for the first session, 2021 session, to apply for the second session according to the conditions progress.
The ministry pointed out that the student applying for the industrial vocational high school certificate exams who failed in one of the subjects, which is divided into two practical and theoretical sections, applies for the subject in the second session in both the practical and theoretical sections.
She clarified that the student is considered to have failed in the subject he did not apply for in the first session and is entitled to apply for it in the second session according to the conditions for progression. Also, the student who fails the first session in any subject is not entitled to enter the examination of the second session, improved with another subject, indicating that the student who has been punished is entitled to Zero in the subject Applying for this subject in the second session according to the conditions for progression. In the second session, the student keeps the same number and in the same governorate in which he applied in the first session, and he is not entitled to transfer his exam center.
The students shall receive the approved registration fees of a financial stamp, an education stamp, a Red Crescent stamp and a financial stamp for the examination fee of one thousand Syrian pounds from each regular student applying for the second session as (complementary or improved) and one thousand Syrian pounds from each free-study student applying for the second session as (complementary or Mohsen) and the character of a war effort in addition to the previous stamps.
According to the statement, the first students who are eligible for the financial reward for the 2021 session will be determined in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 36 of 2015 and Decree No. 153 of 2021.
The first students admitted to universities are also determined in the vocational high school comparison with its branches (female commercial and industrial) in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 36 of 2015 of the first session.
A student who registered to improve his grades in the second session and did not apply for any of them has the right to apply for the first session in the following years and in all subjects. The second session is not entitled to apply in the coming years.
And she indicated that the examination centers for students applying as free study are determined exclusively in the governorate centers, and the Examination Directorate will be provided with a maximum of three days after the completion of registration for the second session, according to the approved form in two copies of the lists of exam centers for the second session of the general, legal and professional secondary certificate in its branches (industrial, commercial, women) Three days maximum.
The general statistics of students registered for the second session exams (improved complement) are calculated according to each subject.
The student applying for the second session has the right to object to the penalty imposed on him as of the day following the issuance of the results of the second session and for a period of seven days. The student applying for the second session is also entitled to object to the result of his grades in two subjects at most, according to the nature of the material error, or apply for re-correction of one exam subject only The degree of another subject according to the nature of the material error as (complementary or improved) within a period not exceeding one week from the date of issuing the results.
According to the ministry, applications for objection to students’ grades in the first session begin from the day following the issuance of the results of the first session and for a period of five days only, while applications for objection to the penalties for students who violate the examination instructions start from the day following the issuance of the results of the first session and for a period of five days only.
The response to the objections of the first session (degree or penalty) before the start of the exam for the second session. The beneficiary student has the right to object to his grade or penalty and wishes to register for the second session as a benefactor or supplement to the registration of his subscription application regardless of the registration period or the amendment of the materials submitted for improvement.
