"The WHO's words of prudence are those that I have always repeated: the pandemic is not over, we must have great prudence and attention especially for the variants which are elements of further concern in a framework that must be followed with great attention".

This was stated by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, on the sidelines of the Public Assembly of Farmindustria 2021, commenting on the recall launched yesterday by the World Health Organization.

"There is a considerably better picture than what we have known in the previous months - he added - but we must keep our guard up".

"There is an understandable debate, but the numbers have to be looked at, day by day. And every day we are over 500,000 doses administered. We must insist on this path". This was stated by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, commenting on the data on vaccinations. With respect to England's decision to reopen despite the Delta variant, he states: "we have chosen a line since April 26, which is a line of gradualness and prudence and of taking step by step with great caution. And this line has led to the its fruits ".
