(ANSA) - BERLIN, 08 JUL - The LGBT law in Hungary comes into force today.
The text, signed by the Hungarian president 15 days ago, sparked a strong confrontation in Europe, culminating in the reactions of the president of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who called it "shameful" and called for its withdrawal.
The Orban government has however defended the law, which it defines as "in defense of minors", and has announced that it wants to keep it.
