(ANSA-AFP) - ROME, JUL 08 - Three rockets were fired against the US embassy in Baghdad. The Iraqi army makes it known. The C-Ram defense system entered into operation during the night, as noted by AFP journalists.
According to initial information, the rockets did not hit the embassy but landed in the vicinity of the GreenZone. Since yesterday, 14 rockets have targeted American soldiers from a distance at an air base in the desert area of western Iraq, while Kurdish forces in Syria claim they have recklessly launched a drone strike against US military in the east of the country.
